Monica Hilverding

Monica’s affection for group fitness classes started in college where she took aerobics and jazzercise every year. Through the years, she has been active in Zumba, yoga, kickboxing, dance and step aerobics, Pound, and VeraFlow just to name a few. Monica loves the variety of group exercise classes that she has taken over the years and that they all benefit the individual in their own way whether for cardio, toning, or increasing flexibility. She has found working out with others to be very motivating and has found lifelong friends through fitness.
In the daytime, Monica is an Associate Lecturer in Mathematics at Ohio University. She lives with her husband, Todd, in Waterford. Together, they enjoy race walking and have completed several local races and half marathons. Through the years, Monica thought about becoming a certified fitness instructor but did not want to miss any of her children’s sporting events. Now that her children, Austin and Taylor, are grown, she decided it was time. Monica is ACE certified in Cardio Kickboxing and is scheduled to become a Pound Pro in December. Monica is extremely excited to be a part of the Rockstar Wellness team and hopes to provide motivation for others to reach their fitness goals.

Gina Wiley
Personal Trainer
Gina is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer and a Registered Nurse. Her passion lies in helping others feel vitalized through reaching their health goals. Gina believes that living a lifestyle of wholesome healthy choices isn’t merely about decreasing the risk of disease, but maximizing the quality of life in this moment of our existence with the gift of life we have been given.
Gina has always loved how exercise makes her feel, but over the years she found her metabolism beginning to slow down and cardio exercise alone wasn’t enough to help her maintain the lifestyle that she wanted to live. She noticed that she didn’t have the strength she once had to carry out everyday tasks. This realization led her to begin experimenting with lifting weights and researching the science of movement when it comes to resistance training. In addition to weight training, she enjoys being outdoors, on the river and hiking.
Gina’s experience in healthcare really opened her eyes to the great need for healthier lifestyles in our community. She believes that showing up a little bit every day with a healthy focus can result in great change. Getting stronger can lead to many incredibly valuable benefits, but her favorite is how it makes her feel and what she is able to accomplish. At age 39, she feels better than ever!
Gina’s goal is to encourage and motivate her clients to safely and effectively be the best that they can be. Whether your goal is feeling better, toning, decreasing adipose tissue, improving your balance or improving movement and posture, Gina wants to help you fulfill that desire for a well-vitalized life.
