Strength Class Descriptions
AMPD Resistance raises resistance band training to a whole new level! The class takes great music and combines it with simple resistance band movements to create a fun, effective total body workout that is safe for all fitness levels.
Kettlebell AMPD is a group fitness format that takes heart-pumping music and kettlebell moves and combines them into 60 minutes of calorie torching fun! The program uses lightweight kettlebells, in both traditional and non-traditional ways, to create a fun, effective full body workout. Combining the benefits of strength training, functional movements and cardiovascular exercise, this program is a safe and effective workout for all ages and fitness levels.
Kettlebell AMPD Unplugged
Kettlebell AMPD unplugged takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 45-minutes of calorie-torching fun! This program was created so that all moves can be done standing or in a chair. Perfect for active older adults, or those that do not want the intensity of our regular Kettlebell AMPD class.
Rise & Grind Bootcamp
Rise and Grind is a bootcamp style class. Expect an interval training class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. This class is designed to push you harder than you’d push yourself and to always keep the body guessing. In most sessions, you can expect to do classic exercises, such as pushups, squats, lunges and crunches - as well as a bunch of new, creative movements. There will be a healthy dose of drills and sprints, as well. With room for modification, this class is suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced!
TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.
Buns, Guns, and Abs
Buns, guns, and abs is a well rounded workout class that targets your core, defines your arms, and lifts your glutes. Amplify your workout with light weights or bands. This class will have you feeling the “burn”.
